Pak Suzuki to launch its ‘Ciaz’ next week

After launching the latest model of Vitara in November 2016,  Pak Suzuki Motor Company is going to launch another car ‘Suzuki Ciaz’ next week in Lahore, the company’s official said here on Thursday.

“The company is set to launch a CBU of Ciaz, most beautiful and stylish luxury sedan car, next week for its brand lovers from all over the country,” he said.

The dealers in Karachi, claimed that this car would be in the expected price range of Rs18,00,000  to Rs 2,000,000.

Suzuki Ciaz 2017 would be the second new addition in Suzuki’s fleet in Pakistan after Vitara 2017. The car just took the automobile market with a blow because of its awesome features and surprisingly affordable price.

Suzuki will launch new Ciaz in the Indian market in April 2017.

In Japan, Suzuki Ciaz is available in both diesel and petrol engine, however, there are mainly three variations of engines offered by the company 1.4 Litre K-Series petrol engine, 1.6 Litre VVT, and the Fiat’s diesel engine. This 1373cc, 4-cylinder motor is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission, while there is also a 4-speed automatic gearbox on offer with the automatic variants.

Following the price increase for ‘Wagon-R’ earlier in January 2017 and recent developments with respect to up gradation of the existing product portfolio, the analysts said revised up earning per share (EPS) estimated to Rs 53.5 for 2017, Rs 65.9 for 2018, and Rs 81.3 for 2019, up 3per cent, 7 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively.

Pak Suzuki has formally discontinued the booking of Suzuki ‘Cultus’, coming in effect from February 1, 2017.  The car will be readily available for the next 3-4 months after which it will be officially replaced by ‘Suzuki Celerio’, expected to be launched by April or May 2017.  The new car will be launched with an expected price tag of around Rs 1,250,000-1,300,000.

In order to answer the rising competition where new entrants like Renault and KIA Motors are all set to enter the local market, the PSMC is also planning to replace its flagship ‘Suzuki Mehran’ with the new ‘Alto660cc’ which will be launched by mid 2018 with an expected price tag of Rs850,000.

According to the analysts, the annual sales volumes of the company will be around 162000 units or 14 per cent by 2019.

The gross margins of the PSMC is to remain in the range of 10.3-10.5 per cent over the next three years, mainly backed by bleak outlook of Japanese Yen (JPY) against the green back and stable PKR/USD parity, with effective PKR/JPY parity to remain around Rs 0.95.

Suzuki’s share in the stock market was on the top ten trading companies for last few days and its share closed at Rs 709.08 after gaining 73 paisas with the trading volume of 103,850 million shares on Thursday.
