PM’s aide lauds resumption of Sino-Pak trade through Khunjerab Pass

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Commerce and Investment Abdul Razak Dawood on Wednesday hailed the resumption of Sino-Pakistan trade through Khunjerab Pass.

“The team at the Ministry of Commerce must be appreciated for its hard work in resolving this issue in consultation with Chinese authorities and other stakeholders,” the adviser said through his official Twitter account. “I am pleased to see that trade with China through Khunjerab Pass has resumed temporarily.”

He said the opening of the border was a longstanding demand of the businessmen, particularly those from the Gilgit-Baltistan region, where businesses remained closed due to Covid-19.
