Saudi Aramco has inaugurated its 50th retail fuel station in Pakistan, marking a key milestone in its rapid expansion across the country’s fuel retail market, the company’s local partner, Gas & Oil Pakistan Limited (GO), announced.
Aramco entered the Pakistani market in 2024 after acquiring a 40% stake in GO, one of the nation’s largest oil marketing companies. This partnership has allowed Aramco to tap into GO’s network of over 1,200 retail sites, enabling a swift roll-out of Aramco-branded stations as Pakistan’s fuel consumption and transport infrastructure continue to grow.
The new station, located along Islamabad’s Srinagar Highway, is part of this ongoing expansion. Senior management and industry officials were present at the inauguration ceremony, highlighting the significance of expanding retail fuel access along major transport routes.
Aramco emphasized that its retail growth not only expands its market footprint but also contributes to local job creation, skill development, and economic activity in surrounding communities.
Since launching its first retail outlet in Lahore in 2024, Aramco now operates 50 stations across multiple provinces. While GO handles network operations, fuel distribution, and logistics, Aramco ensures brand standards, product specifications, and retail experience protocols are met.
“This growth demonstrates our commitment to delivering modern fueling experiences while contributing to Pakistan’s economic development,” Aramco said in a statement.
