Pakistan tractor production falls to 18,825 units in Jul–Feb

Pakistan’s tractor production declined during the first eight months of the current financial year, with total output recorded at 18,825 units compared with 22,554 units in the same period last year, according to data released by the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association.

Tractor sales also decreased during the July–February period of FY2025–26, reaching 17,151 units compared with 21,692 units sold during the corresponding period of the previous year.

Massay Ferguson remained the larger producer during the period, manufacturing 12,027 tractors compared with 14,041 units produced in the same period last year. Sales of Massay Ferguson tractors were recorded at 11,584 units, down from 13,581 units a year earlier.

Production by FIAT Al-Ghazi during the eight-month period stood at 6,798 units compared with 8,513 units in the same period last year.

Sales of FIAT tractors were recorded at 5,587 units during the July–February period, compared with 8,111 units sold in the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
