Chery Master Pakistan is set to launch its five-seater plug-in hybrid SUV, Tiggo 7 PHEV, on April 10, expanding its locally assembled new energy vehicle lineup in the C-segment, as per media reports.
The company said the model will be assembled in Pakistan as a completely knocked down (CKD) unit, with deliveries expected to begin from June 2026, depending on booking volumes. Pricing and booking details will be disclosed at the time of launch.
The Tiggo 7 PHEV is powered by a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine paired with an 18.3 kWh battery and hybrid transmission, delivering 255 kW of power and 525 Nm of torque.
According to the company, the vehicle offers an electric-only range of over 90 kilometres and a combined driving range exceeding 1,200 kilometres.
The SUV includes safety and driver assistance features such as eight airbags and Level 2 advanced driver assistance systems, along with a dual-display interface and vehicle-to-load functionality.
The launch comes amid rising fuel costs, with automakers introducing hybrid and electric models in the local market. Chery operates in Pakistan through Master Auto Engineering and has established a nationwide dealership and aftersales network.
