SECP, AOB ink MoU

The SecuriĀ­ties and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) Chairman, Zafar ul Haq Hijazi and Audit Oversight Board (AOB) chief Dr Tariq Hassan, on Friday have inked a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to allow effective collaboration and coordination in areas of common regulatory and supervisory interests. Cooperation and coordination between the entities will also enable adequate discharge of their respective functions.

Hijazi stated that the AOB should expedite the commencement of its operations and become a leading audit regulator of international standard.
