Jazz introduces its cab-sharing service mLift in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad

The biggest mobile provider in Pakistan, Jazz has joined the fray of cab-sharing services by introducing its service called mLift for its customers in Islamabad and Rawalpindi.

According to a statement on their website which read “As we march forward in bridging the gap between digital enablement for our users, we are launching an on demand intra-city ride booking service, mLift, where customers can book a ride by dialing 7555.”

It will find a taxi based on rider’s location and nearby available rider’s location.

All you need to have is a GSM phone and good negotiation skills.

Following are simple steps to book your ride.

  • Dial 7555 to book a ride
  • Negotiate Fare
  • Take ride
  • Record feedback if any by dialing 7555 and pressing 3

mLift has an edge over its competitors as it would work without mobile internet and won’t be requiring a dedicated app which will enable to connect millions of Jazz users to its ride-hailing platform. And this service also overcomes the legal hurdles being faced by other competitors and makes it compliant by hiring registered cab drivers in line with government rules and regulations.
