Chairman Pakistan Soap Manufacturers Association, and former president Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Zaki has urged Chinese government to review its visa policy and grant multiple visas to the business community for a period of at least one year.
He also emphasized the simplification of the visa issuing process, according to PSMA press release here on Friday.
Chairman PSMA said the business communities of Pakistan and China had been enjoying excellent trade relations which could be gauged from the huge trade volume between the two friendly neighbouring countries.
The senior business leader pointed out that Pakistan’s Embassy in Bejing had been issuing visas to Chinese business community for a period of one year under very simple and quick procedure.
With easy the movement of both the business communities, the bilateral trade would reach its heights, Zaki asserted.
Abdullah Zaki said the game-changer project of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) had opened infinite avenues for economic cooperation and trade enhancement between the two countries.
However, he argued, the business communities of both the countries would only be able to benefit from the situation when they are fully facilitated.
