IHC directs respondents to submit reply in President NBP appointment case

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) Tuesday directed Finance Ministry and State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) to submit written a reply in a case regarding the appointment of Saeed Ahmed as president National Bank of Pakistan (NBP), and adjourned the case till the first week of December.

A single member bench of IHC comprising of Justice Mian Gul Hassan Aurengzaib took up the case for hearing against the appointment of president NBP.

During hearing, the counsel for Saeed Ahmed, Naeem Bukhari Advocate submitted written a reply on behalf of his client.

The bench observed that the two respondents in the case including Finance Ministry and SBP had not submitted the written reply with the court. The court directed the respondent to submit their reply till next date of hearing.
