PIA surprises passengers with Santa surprise for Christmas

An Islamabad bound Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight on Sunday surprised the passengers on-board when a Santa Claus, flanked by the cabin crew, distributed presents among them.

“In the spirit of sharing the happiness and joy of all those celebrating, our Senior Flight Purser, Peter Inayat dressed up as Santa and with the help of the cabin crew gave presents and goodies. And we got the best present of all, a bunch of happy passengers Happy Christmas to everyone celebrating!!,” said a tweet by PIA.

PIA said that the passengers of PK-308 from Karachi to Islamabad had lots of fun. On the eve of Christmas, the airline added, PIA celebrated the festivities on-board various flights.

Gifts, candies and chocolates were distributed on the flight too and the passengers were extremely delighted by this courteous gesture of the airline, said the airline. “The purpose of the gesture was to share the Christmas festivities with those celebrating and promoting the universal message of harmony, love and peace,” the airline concluded.
