Hum Network to launch an online grocery business

LAHORE: Hum Network Limited (HNL) through a notification to Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has informed that the company is venturing into an online grocery business, to be operated through a separate private limited company named Hum Mart (Private) Limited.

The notification read that “The senior management of HNL intends to hold a web-based investor briefing session for analysts and investors. The session will be held on Friday, February 23 at 4.30 pm local time,” HNL CEO Duraid Qureshi will be the keynote speaker at the event.

Key topics that will be covered in the session include future plans, business strategy and financial outlook of the company. HNL’s financial and non-financial projects will be shared with TREC holders, analysts, investors and the media in the session to help them better understand the financial affairs of the company.

HNL has requested the attendance of all research heads, analysts, investors, and TREC holders as per the above-mentioned schedule.

At the close of market on Wednesday, HNL shares with the market symbol HUMNL traded at Rs9.56, up Rs0.04 showing a positive change of 0.42 per cent with 0.35 million shares traded during the day.
