Pakistan will never allow its soil to be used for money-laundering, terror-financing: Miftah

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance Miftah Ismail has said that Pakistan will never allow its soil to be used for money-laundering and terror-financing.

In an interview with Bloomberg TV in Washington, he said Pakistan is committed to fulfil its international obligations in this regard.

Miftah Ismail said we will work with the international community as well as Financial Action Task Force and International Cooperation Review Group to come out of the greylist as soon as possible.

To a question, the advisor ruled out any further devaluation of rupee against the dollar as things are moving in the right direction.

He said the country’s exports are now increasing and there has not been any inflation which is at present less than four per cent. He also expressed the confidence that Pakistan would achieve 6.25 per cent GDP growth next year.
