Pakistan’s foreign reserves fall by $309m to $9480m

KARACHI: State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) here Thursday said the total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $16,084.3 million as of July 06, 2018 depicting a decrease of $309 million.

Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) stand at $9,479.5 million, whereas, net foreign reserves held by commercial banks amount to $6,604.8 million.

Foreign exchange reserves held by SBP decreased by $309 million to $9,480 million due to external debt and other official payments, SBP noted.
