LAHORE: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), through a notification declared that it had re-composed the KSE-30 index for the review period from January 1, 2018 to June 30, 2018, stating the updated list of companies included in the index.
The notification stated, “The Re-Composition has been carried out on the basis of the Pre-requisites / Criteria of selection of companies”.
It further added that as a result, three companies would be affected due to the re-composition. It listed Bank Alfalah Limited, Honda Atlas Cars Limited, and Mari Metroleum Company Limited in the list of ‘incoming companies’, and listed Maple Leaf Cement Factory Limited, National Refinery Limited, and Aisha Steel Mills Limited in the list of ‘outgoing companies’.

The Re-Composed Index, based on the prices of June 30, 2018 will be implemented w.e.f. Monday, September 17, 2018.
