PR reduces fare of two trains to facilitate passengers

ISLAMABAD: Following the directives of Railways Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, Pakistan Railways has reduced the fares of Akbar Express and Bolan Mail by Rs100 each.

According to a notification issued by PR on Friday, the fares have been reduced to facilitate the economy class passengers of two trains, running between Lahore-Quetta and Quetta-Karachi, on advance booking.

After reduction, the fare of Akbar Express from Lahore to Quetta will be Rs890 while that of Bolan Mail from Quetta to Karachi will be Rs660, the notification said.

The reduction on Bolan Mail will be implemented with immediate effect, while on Akbar Express from December 1. The passengers will get this facility till the December 31.
