FM Qureshi, Chinese envoy discuss CPEC progress

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Yao Jing called on Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

During the meeting, progress on the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as well as bilateral and regional issues were discussed between the two, Foreign Office (FO) spokesperson Dr Mohammad Faisal tweeted.

Qureshi welcomed Chinese support and assistance in different sectors including trade and economic cooperation, expressing Pakistan’s desire to keep working on the further strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries.
