Shahbaz Jameel appointed as ZTBL president

In pursuance of the Federal Cabinet’s decision, Muhammad Shahbaz Jameel, a senior banker, has been appointed as the president & CEO of Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL).

Shahbaz Jameel is a senior banker having 27 years of diversified experience in commercial, retail and project financing. After completing his education from the UK and USA on scholarship, he started his career from Standard Chartered in 1992 and over time held key positions in various multinationals. He also worked at the Privatization Commission of Pakistan to restructure and privatize UBL, HBL and other institutions. He also remained the acting managing director of the Bank of Khyber.
