WB reiterates commitment to institutional reforms in Pakistan

World Bank Country Director for Pakistan Patchamuthu Illangovan has reiterated his commitment to helping Pakistan in furthering the pace of institutional reforms already being undertaken by the government in different sectors of the economy.

He was talking to Adviser to Prime Minister on Finance & Revenue Dr Abdul Hafeez Shaikh on Wednesday. The WB official apprised the adviser of various ongoing and upcoming projects of the World Bank for the socio-economic development of Pakistan.

The adviser underscored the importance of technical and financial assistance from the World Bank to further strengthen its growth-oriented objective and developmental goals in different sectors of the Pakistan economy.
