Trade suspended at Taftan border after reports of coronavirus in Iran

QUETTA: Trade activity has been suspended at Taftan border after reports of coronavirus in Iran which has reportedly claimed eight lives there, a private TV channel reported on Monday.

Long queues of vehicles can be seen on the border. Meanwhile, the Balochistan government declared a health emergency at Taftan border.

This was stated by Balochistan Chief Secretory Fazeel Asghar while chairing a meeting in Quetta in connection with reports of coronavirus in Iran. He also directed Provincial Disaster Management Authority to provide food items and medicine to pilgrims at Taftan border.
