PM apprised of issues concerning telecom industry

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday chaired a meeting to discuss issues relating to the telecom industry.

Issues relating to enhancement of coverage and further sale of spectrum came under discussion during the meeting.

Minister for Industries Hammad Azhar, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Adviser to PM on Finance Dr Abdul Hafeez Sheikh, Special Assistant to PM on Oversea Pakistanis Syed Zulfiqar Abbas Bokhari, Senator Faisal Javed and others were present.

MNAs FROM FAISALABAD CALL ON PM:

Separately, talking to a group of MNAs from Faisalabad, PM Imran Khan saidthe Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme is providing relief to people on the basis of merit, transparency and impartiality.

He directed the MNAs to play a vibrant role in providing relief to people during the holy month of Ramadan.

MNAs apprised the premier of problems being faced by local people in the context of the Covid-19 outbreak.

They said the Ehsaas Emergency Cash Programme is providing encouragement to the vulnerable people.
