PIA cuts fares for domestic flights ahead of Eid

KARACHI: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) on Sunday announced that it has reduced fares for domestic flights prior to Eid-ul-Adha.

The decision was taken as per the directives of PIA Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Air Marshal Arshad Malik, in order to facilitate passengers ahead of Eid.

A spokesman of the national flag carrier said that the one-way ticket of Lahore or Islamabad-bound flight from Karachi would cost Rs8,652.

Similarly, a one-way ticket of a Quetta-bound flight from Karachi would cost Rs11,535, while Peshawar-bound flights from Karachi would cost Rs11,714 including taxes.

Earlier on Eid-ul-Fitr, the national airline announced a 10 per cent discount on all flights for doctors and paramedical staff who wanted to travel before and during the Eid festival.

  1. Listen forget the safety factor flying with PIA
    The service was abismal the food was crap the customer service was non existent and the planes had no working entertainment nothing no blankets no pillows and the seats for a long haul flight were like sitting on a wooden bench
    So best thing that could have happened was for it to have been barred from Europe UK etc
