Faheem Haider replaces Lt Gen Ishfaq Nadeem (r) as Mari Petroleum CEO

Faheem Haider has been appointed as the Managing Director (MD) and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mari Petroleum Company Limited (MPCL) on Monday, the company said in a filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.

The statement read, “We would like to inform that the board in its meeting held today has approved the appointment of Faheem Haider as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Mari Petroleum Company Limited with effect from August 12, 2020”.

Faheem Haider would be replacing Lt Gen (r) Ishfaq Nadeem Ahmad as the chief executive. Haider is an alumnus of Oxford University, UK; Imperial College, London; and University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore. 

He is a Petroleum Engineer and possesses more than 27 years of professional experience. Apart from handling core E&P operations in different parts of the world, he has hands-on experience of JV management, business development, strategy and growth delivery, operational efficiency, cost leadership, and stakeholders’ management.
