‘Govt giving loans to skilled youth to promote entrepreneurship’

Special Assistant to Prime Minister (SAPM) on Youth Affairs Usman Dar has said that the government is giving loans to skilled youth in order to promote entrepreneurship.

He stated this while meeting a delegation of the UK-Pakistan Business Council (Pakistan Chapter), led by Council President Khurshid Barlas. The council’s visit to Pakistan was aimed at strengthening public-private partnership and promoting mutual trade cooperation. 

Dar said that the Pakistan Tehtreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) government has disbursed loans to youth under the Kamyab Jawan Programme and promised to give billions more to the country’s youth .     

Lauding the PTI government for giving a number of incentives to the business community, Barlas said that the UK-Pakistan Business Council is making efforts to enhance bilateral trade between the two countries. 

He said that Pakistani brands and talent need to be introduced all over the world for which the council has taken practical steps.
