Textile industry growing due to solid policies: Aleem

LAHORE: Punjab Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan has said that the country’s textile industry is growing due to the far-sighted and solid policies of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan.

Talking to the delegation of party workers here on Sunday, Aleem Khan said that the revival of the textile industry would not only boost the confidence of traders but also increase investment and create ample employment opportunities.

He said that the country is moving forward towards economic stability despite facing challenges amid the coronavirus pandemic, adding that economic indicators show a visible improvement in the country’s situation whereas the current account surplus is also a good sign.

The senior minister further said that the present government taking measures to ensure sustainable development in all sectors.

He concluded by saying that the textile industry’s revival has also contributed to an increase in foreign exchange reserves.
