Sazgar Engineering Works Limited reported production and sales data for May 2025, showing increased activity in its four-wheeler segment.
According to the company’s latest filing with the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Sazgar produced 1,048 four-wheeler units, including off-road and passenger vehicles, and sold 919 units during the month. In the three-wheeler segment, the company produced 1,900 units and sold 1,865 units in May.
The four-wheeler segment showed a notable month-on-month increase, with production rising from 693 units in April to 1,048 units in May, and sales increasing from 549 to 919 units. On the other hand, three-wheeler production increased from 1,742 units in April to 1,900 units in May, while sales slightly declined from 1,958 to 1,865 units.
Between July 2024 and May 2025, Sazgar’s total four-wheeler production stood at 10,104 units, while sales reached 10,495 units. For three-wheelers, total production during the 11-month period amounted to 25,080 units, with sales recorded at 26,172 units.
Sazgar Engineering Works, headquartered in Lahore, assembles four-wheelers under technical arrangements with Chinese automotive brands Haval and BAIC. Its product lineup includes off-road models like the BAIC BJ40 Plus and passenger vehicles such as the Haval H6.
In addition to vehicle assembly, the company also manufactures automotive wheel rims and exports to select international markets.
At the time of Sazgar’s report filing to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, the company’s share price stood at Rs. 1,175.00. As of the writing of this report, the share price had risen to Rs. 1,187.39.
During the trading session, the stock opened at Rs. 1,121.00, reached a high of Rs. 1,199.99, and a low of Rs. 1,120.00, with a total trading volume of 607,502 shares.
