Amin A. Feerasta re-elected chairman of Soneri Bank for three-year term
Board decision taken at 215th meeting; new term to begin March 28, 2026 in line with Companies Act requirements.

Soneri Bank has re-elected Amin A. Feerasta as Chairman of its Board of Directors for a further three-year term, the bank said in a notice submitted to the Pakistan Stock Exchange on Thursday.
According to the notice, the decision was taken during the Board’s 215th meeting held on March 12.
Feerasta will assume the new term from March 28, 2026, in accordance with Section 192 of the Companies Act, 2017.
He has been serving as chairman since June 2024. Prior to taking over the role, he remained associated with the bank for more than 26 years, with experience across commercial and corporate banking, investment banking, project finance, special assets, information technology and administration.
Apart from his role at the bank, Feerasta also serves as chairman of the Aga Khan Foundation, Pakistan and is a member of the governing body of the Aga Khan Hospital & Medical College Foundation.
