Pakistan exports to US rise 3.62% to $4.16 billion in Jul–Feb, imports jump 27.78%
SBP data shows monthly export dip in February, overall exports decline while imports increase

Pakistan’s exports to the United States increased by 3.62% during the first eight months of the current fiscal year, reaching $4.156 billion compared to $4.011 billion in the same period last year, according to State Bank of Pakistan data.
On a year-on-year basis, exports to the US rose by 4.88% in February 2026 to $466.763 million, up from $445.007 million in February 2025. However, on a month-on-month basis, exports declined by 8.94% from $512.599 million recorded in January 2026.
Overall exports to other countries decreased by 5.44% during the July–February period, falling from $21.935 billion to $20.741 billion.
Imports from the United States recorded a sharper increase, rising by 27.78% during the eight-month period to $1.918 billion, compared to $1.501 billion last year.
On a year-on-year basis, imports from the US grew by 30.58% in February 2026 to $303.960 million, up from $232.766 million in February 2025. On a monthly basis, imports also increased by 19.20% compared to $254.988 million in January 2026.
Total imports into Pakistan rose by 8.82% during the period under review, increasing from $38.823 billion to $41.823 billion.
