Kerosene, light diesel prices increased in latest fuel revision
Govt also raises aviation fuel rates by Rs2.10 per litre as international oil market volatility keeps pressure on energy prices

The government has revised upward the prices of kerosene oil, light diesel oil and jet fuel, increasing rates by up to Rs2.10 per litre with immediate effect, according to an official notification issued on Saturday.
Under the latest revision, aviation fuel registered the highest increase, with the price rising by Rs2.10 per litre to Rs332.32 from Rs330.22.
Kerosene oil prices were increased by Rs1.71 per litre, taking the new rate to Rs313.44 per litre compared to the previous Rs311.73.
The government also raised the price of light diesel oil by Rs1.62 per litre. Following the increase, light diesel will now be available at Rs275.54 per litre against the earlier Rs273.92.
Officials confirmed that all revised prices had come into force immediately nationwide.
The latest adjustment comes amid continued instability in international oil markets and broader increases in global energy prices, which have continued to impact domestic petroleum costs.
