While congratulating the prime minister on achieving power generation milestone of 19,248 megawatt, Patron-in-Chief of KATI S M Muneer and President Masood Naqi have said Karachi industry didn’t get relief of lower tariffs in electricity during the previous year. The prime minister should consider this long awaited concern of the city’s industry, this year. They were talking to media after a joint session.
S M Muneer congratulated PM Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on achieving power generation milestone of 19248 megawatt.
SM Muneer said that current federal government and especially the PM have put his best efforts to resolve energy crises and it is remarkable. He said that energy is a prerequisite for a steady industrialization process.
S M Muneer said that to provide cheap energy to industries is a bigger challenge to achieve for the government.
Masood Naqi said expensive energy bill shares the largest part of heavy production cost in the industry. “We hope energy will be provided to industry on low prices and generation will grow further in coming future.”
