PIA adds 12th Boeing-777 aircraft to its fleet

KARACHI

Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has inducted a 12th Boeing 777 aircraft in its fleet.

The aircraft has been obtained on a dry lease for a period of six years from Ireland-based leasing company; Macquarie.

With the induction of Boeing 777-300, PIA has 12 Boeing 777 aircraft in its fleet, with fleet strength rising to 32 aircraft.

The Boeing 777-300 has a capacity of 442 seats and after completion of all necessary formalities will be put into airline’s operation.

PIA CEO, Nayyar Hayat while sharing his views on the induction of the aircraft said that PIA will now be able to serve its passengers with more flights and increase in airline’s network.

The newly inducted aircraft will be utilised on PIA’s international routes.
