FPCCI trade delegation visits Qatar

ISLAMABAD

A delegation from the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) visited Doha, Qatar on Aug 13, 2017, under the chairmanship of FPCCI President Zubair Tufail.

The purpose of this delegation was to discuss the matters of bilateral trade, investment and mutual cooperation.

During the visit, the delegation held various high-level meetings with representatives of the business community of Qatar, Pak-Qatar Joint Business Council and Qatar Investment Authority.

The Delegation also held a meeting of Pak-Qatar Joint Business Council in Qatar Chambers of Commerce & Industry (QCCI) and met QCCI Vice Chairman Muhammad Bin Twar Al Kuwari.

It also met Senior Members of Qatar Investment Authority and invited them to invest in major projects in Pakistan in the fields of infrastructure development, steel manufacturing and oil refinery.

On the other hand, Qatari authorities invited Pakistani businessmen to set up their Industries in Qatar as a result of the liberal policies of the Qatari government.

The delegation was accompanied by Javed Akhai of Martin Dow Pharma, Vice Admiral Azhar Shamim Anwer (Retd), Bahria Foundation Chairman Asim Mustafa of Getz Pharma, Dr Mustafa Kamal of Big Bird Group and Khochra of Rajby Industries.
