Govt to enhance cooperation with various countries in energy sector

ISLAMABAD: The government is making concerted efforts to enhance cooperation with various countries in the energy sector.

According to Radio Pakistan, quoting official sources, agreements have been signed with several countries, including Turkey, Azerbaijan, Qatar, Iran, China, Russia and Turkmenistan in this regard.

These agreements are aimed at collaboration in the fields of hydrocarbons, ore mining, mineral processing, and geo chemical mapping.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has also been signed with Asia Pacific Corporation of United Kingdom and Sptech Private Limited of Sweden to mitigate gas losses.
