Google launches search option for jobs in Pakistan

Google, the startup turned tech-behemoth which celebrated its 20th anniversary this week, has launched a new feature that will make it easier for one searching for a job in Pakistan.

After the United Kingdom, where the company started this option that makes it easy for anyone to just hit the Google search bar after an initial query and find a job listing; it launched this option in India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and now – Pakistan.

Here’s how it works.

Google, like most things it does, has kept it simple.

All you need to do is go to the Google search bar and type ‘job’, which will show a basic result of jobs of all categories/experience level/industries in a list sourced from different websites and job pages.

A more refined search, for example, ‘jobs finance’, will list down the available jobs in finance.

Google is now set to give a robust competition to websites which specialise in job listings.
