Govt approves new NBP board

The federal cabinet has approved the appointment of Board of Directors of the National Bank of Pakistan from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan. The finance ministry will soon issue a notification in this regard.

As per details, Zubair Somroo has been appointed as the chairman of the board, while Asif Jumma, Muhammad Toufique, Islam Hussain, Sadaf Abid, Zafar Masud, Suhail Rajput and Imam Bakash Balouch would take charge as directors.
