SBP reserves decrease by $220m, stand at $10.27bn

KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves of the country stand at $17.228 billion, said the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

According to the SBP’s weekly statement issued on Thursday, the foreign reserves held with the central bank stood at $10.27 billion while the net foreign reserves held by the commercial banks amounted to $6.95 billion.

During the week ending on April 5, SBP’s reserves decreased by $220 million to $10.27 million owing to external debt servicing and other official payments.
