Rashakai SEZ to speed up industrialisation in Pakistan: Asim Bajwa

China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Lt Gen (r) Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that Rashakai Special Economic Zone (SEZ) project will speed up the process of industrialisation in Pakistan.

Taking to Twitter before the 'agreement signing ceremony' for the development of the Rashakai SEZ, Asim Bajwa informed that China Road and Bridge Construction Company "is the development partner with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government for this particular project".

On Sunday, Board of Investment (BoI) Chairman Atif R Bokhari said that Rashakai SEZ will pave the way for the establishment of new zones.

"Such economic zones will lead to a prosperous and industrial Pakistan", Bokhari stated, noting that a lot of progress has been made in the zones established under the CPEC.
