PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Chief Minister (CM) Mahmood Khan on Sunday announced that the Executive Committee of the Economic Coordination Council (ECNEC) had given its approval for the construction of Peshawar North Bypass in addition to two power projects.
He said that the construction of the bypass will increase traffic flow in Peshawar city.
Power projects approved by the committee include the construction of a 157-MV power station in Madyan area of Swat and an 88-MV Gabral powerhouse in Kalam Valley.
The chief minister said that the completion of power projects will enable the authorities to provide electricity to industries on discounted rates.
