Gold prices soar by Rs700 per tola in Pakistan

In contrast, silver prices remained steady

Gold prices in Pakistan rose on Tuesday, reflecting an uptick in international rates. The price of gold per tola increased by Rs700, reaching Rs241,000, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).

Similarly, the price of 10-gram gold went up by Rs600, now selling at Rs206,619.

On Monday, gold prices in Pakistan were unchanged, but a rise in the international market on Tuesday saw the rate per ounce increase by $10, reaching $2,336, including a $20 premium, as reported by the APGJSA.

In contrast, silver prices remained steady at Rs2,820 per tola.

In April, gold prices in the local market peaked at an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola.
