Rs25,000 prize bond draw held in Quetta; 700 winners bag Rs300,000 prizes

The government has announced the winners of the Rs25,000 national prize bond draw, conducted on December 10, 2024, in Quetta.

According to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), two lucky winners secured the first prize of Rs30 million each. The winning bond numbers were 385325 and 498317.

The second prize of Rs10 million each was awarded to five winners holding bond numbers 053461, 056921, 187297, 249312, and 934808. 

Additionally, 700 winners received the third prize of Rs300,000 each.

The Rs25,000 prize bond draw, one of four held this year, is part of a popular national savings scheme. Specific bond numbers for third-prize winners can be checked on the National Savings website.

In addition, the Rs40,000 prize bond draw (Draw 31) was held December 9 at the National Savings Division office in Muzaffarabad.

Earlier this year, the federal government implemented a fixed tax rate on winnings from prize bonds and lottery schemes. A 15% tax is applicable on prize bond and crossword puzzle winnings, while a 20% tax applies to raffles, lotteries, and promotional quizzes, according to official directives.
