PSX earns international certification for Information Security Management Systems

Stock exchange meets international standards for data protection with ISO 27001:2022 certification

The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) has been awarded the ISO 27001:2022 certification, recognizing its adherence to the globally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS).

The certification confirms PSX’s commitment to ensuring the security of data by maintaining confidentiality, integrity, and availability for all stakeholders.

ISO 27001:2022 provides a framework for establishing, implementing, maintaining, and improving an Information Security Management System, and PSX has adopted this approach to protect its critical data assets from potential risks while aligning with global information security standards.

The certification follows a comprehensive audit by SGS, a leading global inspection, verification, and certification body accredited by UKAS. This third-party review affirms that PSX has established a robust and effective ISMS that meets the strict criteria of ISO 27001:2022.
