Engro Powergen Qadirpur CEO Sameen Akhter resigns, new appointment expected

Engro Powergen Qadirpur Limited has announced the resignation of its Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Sameen Akhter, effective June 5, 2025. 

The company's board of directors has confirmed that a new CEO will be appointed in due course.

In a letter to the Pakistan Stock Exchange, Engro Powergen expressed its deep appreciation for Ms. Akhter’s contributions during her tenure as CEO, acknowledging her role in the company’s success.

The company has requested the Pakistan Stock Exchange to inform TREC holders about the development as it looks forward to the appointment of a new leadership to guide its future operations.
