KARACHI — The Board of Directors of Ismail Industries Limited has re-appointed Muhammad M. Ismail as Chairman and Munsarim Saifullah as Chief Executive Director of the company for a three-year term, the confectionery manufacturer announced in a notice to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) on Wednesday.
According to company information, Muhammad M. Ismail holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the University of Florida, USA, and has been associated with the confectionery sector since 1974. He established Ismail Industries Limited (IIL) in 1989 after previously serving as a director at Union Biscuits.
As Chairman, he oversees production, marketing, distribution, and expansion activities across the company’s business lines.
Chief Executive Director Munsarim Saifullah, who holds a degree in engineering from N.E.D. University of Engineering and Technology, joined IIL at its inception after working with Pakistan International Airlines.
Ismail Industries, incorporated as a private limited company in 1988 and later converted into a public limited company, manufactures and trades confectionery, biscuits, chips, and packaging materials under the brands Candyland, Bisconni, Snackcity, and Astro Films.
