Mari Energies subsidiary signs joint venture agreement with Canada’s MSALABS to set up assay laboratory in Pakistan

Mari Energies Limited on Thursday informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange that its wholly owned subsidiary, Mari Minerals (Private) Limited, has entered into a joint venture agreement with Canada-based MSALABS Limited for the establishment and operation of a full-service assay laboratory in Pakistan.

In a notice issued under Section 96 of the Securities Act, 2015 and Clause 5.6.1(a) of the PSX Regulations, the company said the joint venture will be subject to receipt of requisite corporate, regulatory and governmental approvals.

"The proposed laboratory will provide comprehensive ISO-Certified minerals testing services, covering all aspects from sample preparation to assaying, to support mining activities in Pakistan," said the notice.

Under the agreement, a project company will be incorporated with equal shareholding between Mari Minerals and MSALABS, according to the disclosure.
