Pakistan, Cambodia agree to strengthen economic, trade and investment cooperation

Pakistan and Cambodia have agreed to work more closely to strengthen their bilateral partnership, with a focus on economy, trade and investment cooperation under the Pakistan–Cambodia Joint Trade Committee (JTC), the Foreign Office said on Tuesday.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar received Cambodia’s Minister of Commerce Cham Nimul at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where both sides reaffirmed their mutual desire to deepen bilateral ties.

Dar highlighted Pakistan’s ongoing engagement with the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and reiterated Islamabad’s interest in further enhancing cooperation with the regional bloc, according to a Foreign Office press release.
