FBR integrates 11,141 Tier-I retailers into POS system by February 2026

The Federal Board of Revenue has integrated 11,141 Tier-I retailers into its Point of Sales system by February 2026 to document transactions of large retailers, particularly hotels and restaurants.

Data released by the FBR shows that the number of registered retailers stood at 10,858 in December 2025. This indicates that 283 additional retailers were brought into the POS system over the last two months.

According to the updated list compiled up to February 2026, a total of 971 restaurants are now connected to the POS system. In addition, 556 textile and leather retailers have been registered with the tax authority.

The FBR’s latest figures confirm that the number of textile and leather retailers integrated into the system stands at 556 as of February 2026.
