The figures were shared in a written reply to a question by MNA Khursheed Junejo. The ministry also provided spending details for the current fiscal year period to date.
It said Pakistan Steel Mills’ salary expenditure from July 2025 to January 2026 amounted to Rs 261.81 million, while electricity expenditure during the same period was Rs 297.34 million.

It added that no expenditure is being incurred on gas supply after the gas connection was disconnected on government instructions in July 2024.
