The Pakistan Minerals Investment Forum 2026 (PMIF26), initially planned for April in Islamabad, has been tentatively rescheduled to November, organisers said on Monday.
According to a statement, the event, earlier set for April 8–9, will now be held on November 12–13, 2026.
Organisers said the decision was taken after reviewing regional developments and the international travel environment affecting participation from key markets.
They added that while Pakistan is not part of the conflict zone and international travel continues as normal, the revised schedule is expected to provide greater certainty for overseas delegates.
The change was made in consultation with government counterparts and international partners to ensure broader global participation.
Officials said shifting the forum to November would allow more stable conditions for investors, policymakers and industry representatives to attend.
The forum is designed to bring together mining companies, exploration firms, service providers, financial institutions and government stakeholders.
Organisers said preparations for the event will continue, including programme development, outreach to international participants and partnership engagement ahead of the new dates.
