Flydubai suspends Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar flights until October 26

Flydubai has suspended flight operations to and from Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar until October 26, citing operational reasons. However, flights to and from Karachi would continue without interruption, according to the airline’s flight inquiry office in Pakistan.
Flydubai, the Dubai-based low-cost carrier, launched operations in Islamabad and Lahore in July 2024 and later expanded services to Peshawar in May 2025.
According to aviation tracking platform Flightradar24, flights between Dubai and Islamabad, Lahore and Peshawar had been cancelled since at least May 7. The affected routes include Islamabad-Dubai flights FZ353 and FZ354, Lahore-Dubai flights FZ359 and FZ360, and Peshawar-Dubai flights FZ375 and FZ376.
In a statement issued on March 31, the airline said it was operating flights across its network on a reduced schedule and advised passengers to regularly check flight status updates before travelling to airports.
While the statement did not directly mention the conflict involving the United States, Israel and Iran, the airline said it was closely monitoring the regional situation and adjusting schedules accordingly.
The airline also stated that passenger and crew safety remained its highest priority.
The regional conflict has contributed to rising jet fuel prices and increased pressure on airline operations globally.
Last month, the International Air Transport Association warned that disruptions linked to the conflict and fuel supply pressures could affect Asian aviation markets first.
IATA Director General Willie Walsh had said airlines could begin reducing schedules ahead of the peak summer travel season in anticipation of fuel shortages.
