Pakistan, Italy sign pact to waive visa requirements for diplomatic passport holders
Agreement signed in Rome as both sides review bilateral ties and cooperation at United Nations and European Union forums

Pakistan and Italy on Tuesday signed an agreement abolishing visa requirements for holders of diplomatic passports, marking a step forward in bilateral relations between the two countries, Radio Pakistan reported.
The agreement was signed in Rome by Pakistan's Ambassador to Italy Ali Javed and Italy's Secretary General of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Riccardo Guariglia.
Prior to the signing ceremony, the two sides reviewed their bilateral engagement and discussed cooperation across a range of areas.
They also exchanged views on collaboration at multilateral forums, including the United Nations and the European Union.
Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening traditionally cordial relations and enhancing cooperation on regional and international issues.
The agreement will allow holders of diplomatic passports from both countries to travel without visa requirements in accordance with the terms of the arrangement.
