KARACHI
The Model Customs Collectorate, Gwadar has surpassed its revenue collection by 3947.385 million, against the over-all assigned target during the financial year 2016-17.
The over-all target of duty and taxes of Rs 22494.41 million was assigned to the collectorate during the financial year 2016-17 and the achievement stood Rs. 26441.795 million.
Thus, there is increase of Rs. 3947.385 million which stands plus 18pc in over-all revenue collection.
The head-wise break-up of duty and taxes collected during the financial year 2016-17 was as follows: Custom Duty Rs. 6938.005 million, Sales Tax Rs. 16957.136 million, Withholding Tax Rs. 2522.605 million and Federal Excise Duty Rs. 24.049 million.
